Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-10-08
1. Service provider
These terms govern Walkingfy (https://walkingfy.com), provided by Manuel Joaquín Izquierdo Tomás, Spanish ID 22596796D. Contact: info@walkingfy.com · walkingfyapp@gmail.com.
2. What Walkingfy is
Walkingfy offers (i) a SaaS for tour operators (brand site, ops console, payments) on subscription, and (ii) Walkingfy Explore, a discovery layer for free tours and experiences at a 0% platform fee on those bookings.
When you find a tour on Explore, the booking contract is with the operator on their website. Walkingfy does not organise the tour and does not replace demand channels such as Civitatis or GuruWalk.
3. Operator accounts
- Provide accurate data and keep your credentials secure.
- The contracted plan (setup + monthly) and Stripe Connect follow published pricing and Stripe’s terms.
- You are responsible for your site content, tours and compliance toward guests and guides.
4. Travellers
By using Explore you agree your contact data may be shared with the operator to manage the booking. Cancellations, refunds and tour terms are set by the operator.
5. Payments
Paid experiences/privates and tips are processed via Stripe. Operator funds settle to their Connect account per Stripe’s rules. Walkingfy is not a traditional marketplace holding guest funds.
6. Acceptable use
Fraud, spam, illegal content or infringement of third-party rights is forbidden. We may suspend accounts for serious breaches.
7. Intellectual property
Walkingfy, its brand and software belong to the provider. Operator tour content and brand remain theirs.
8. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law we are not liable for indirect damages or for the tour delivered by the operator. Our aggregate liability to a user under these terms shall not exceed amounts paid to Walkingfy in the prior 12 months (or €100 if none).
9. Privacy and cookies
Data processing is described in the privacy policy and cookies in the cookie policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Unless mandatory rules say otherwise, courts at the provider’s domicile apply; consumers may use the courts of their residence.
